Oh, 2008... where have you gone? To where have you disappeared? I know that I lived each day through your duration but it's all gone by so fast. I can so vividly remember celebrating News Years with friends at Farm, and now you are ready to close your doors and send us all home into the next year.
However, it's not over yet! I try to close our each year with one great last reading. In 2006, my last reading was in Las Vegas (awesome!). In 2007, my last reading was in Lincoln, NE (chilly, but awesome!). And I will be closing out 2008 at the Indiana Writers Center in Indianapolis! I will be featured reader for the December edition of Evening with the Muse. There is also an open mic as well.
Oh, 2009... what do you hold in store? I can already tell you folks that there are big plans coming together. Let's just say that my next book will see the light of day and a large-scale tour may very well happen. And I'll be getting married! So, 2009... you have your work cut out for you.
